Criteria for evaluating the performance of assigned tasks of civil servants and public employees of the Ministry of Education and Training

Criteria for evaluating the performance of assigned tasks of civil servants and public employees of the Ministry of Education and Training

The Ministry of Education and Training issued Decision 1818/QD-BGDDT dated June 30, 2025 on the Regulations on annual quality assessment and classification of units, civil servants, public employees and employees of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Accordingly, Article 5 of the Regulations issued together with Decision 1818/QD-BGDDT specifically stipulates the general criteria for assessing and classifying the quality of civil servants and public employees of the Ministry of Education and Training as follows:

(1) Political ideology

(2) Ethics, lifestyle

(3) Sense of organization and discipline

(4) Results of performing assigned duties and tasks

For example, the criteria for the results of performing assigned duties and tasks are guided as follows:

– For civil servants, leaders and managers

+ Thoroughly grasp, institutionalize and implement the Party’s guidelines and policies, the State’s policies and laws at the unit.

+ Maintain discipline and order within the unit; do not allow disciplinary violations or violations of the law to occur and prevent prolonged complaints and denunciations; prevent corruption and waste within the unit.

+ Lead, direct, organize inspection, supervision, and resolve complaints and denunciations according to authority; direct and implement administrative reform, reform of the public service and civil servant regime at the unit.

+ Develop annual programs and plans of operations for the assigned management and responsibility unit, clearly defining the results of implementing targets and tasks, quantifying them with specific products.

+ Capacity, prestige; responsibility to set an example, personal exemplary behavior.

– For civil servants and public employees not holding leadership or management positions

+ Results of performing tasks according to the provisions of law, according to the set plan or according to the specific assigned work; volume, progress, and quality of performing tasks.

+ Attitude of serving people and businesses in positions that directly contact or directly handle the work of people and businesses.
