Is creativity a process or a moment?
According to Professor Nancy Napier, for individuals, the “aha!” moment when a new idea arises – an “Aha! Moment” – cannot come from nothing, from nothing to something, but from a process of thinking, pondering about a topic or phenomenon. The accumulation of information and reasoning of the cerebral cortex cells, one day leads to a flow of electrical impulses, when those separate accumulation points suddenly connect with each other and “Aha!” – a new solution, method, way of thinking is born.
A process leads to a moment. That is individual creativity. For the organization, a moment leads to a process, because individual creativity, if effectively promoted, will bring about innovation within the organization. How does that process happen? How can it be promoted? How can each individual realize that their moment of inspiration will be appreciated and implemented by the organization, thereby bringing each member to new heights and turning the organization into a source of creativity and innovation?
The seminar: “Innovation: From personal moments of inspiration to organizational transformation” will help you understand the mechanism to create your own moments of inspiration, while also providing experts’ sharing on how to promote and apply creativity, and create a culture of innovation for organizations.
In particular, Professor Nancy Napier will give away the original English copies of “Insight: Encouraging Aha! Moments for Organizational Success” to the most active audience. Register now to not miss this special opportunity!
